Karachi: First Al-Noor Modaraba has announced the scheduling of its Annual Review Meeting, set to take place on October 21, 2026, at 11:05 a.m. The meeting will be held at the company's registered office located in the Sindhi Muslim Cooperative Housing Society, Karachi. The agenda will focus on reviewing the Modaraba's performance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
Certificate holders are reminded to submit a photocopy of their valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) to the Modaraba or its Share Registrar, M/s FAMCO Share Registration Services (Private) Limited. The absence of a valid CNIC will compel the Modaraba to withhold dividends as per Section 243 (3) of the Companies Act, 2017. Additionally, the company has emphasized the necessity for certificate holders to provide electronic bank account details to facilitate direct cash dividend transfers, complying with Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017 and the Companies (Distribution of Dividend) Regulations, 2017.
The Share Transfer Book will be closed from October 19 to October 31, 2026, inclusively. Transfers received by the business close on October 17, 2025, at the office of the Share Registrar will be eligible for determining entitlements and meeting participation.
Members are informed about the possibility of attending the Annual Review Meeting via video conference, contingent upon receiving consent from those holding a minimum of 10% shareholding. This must be communicated at least seven days prior to the meeting date.
In accordance with Section 72 of the Companies Act, 2017, the company urges members to convert physical certificates into book-entry form. This transition is mandatory for all listed companies and aims to streamline shareholding records. Members are advised to liaise with the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited or the Share Registrar for assistance in this process.
Furthermore, the company continues its efforts to resolve unclaimed dividends and undelivered share certificates, having reached out to members as required by Section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017. Members are encouraged to update their contact information and claim any outstanding financial entitlements.
