CEO of Arif Habib Limited Increases Shareholding Through Series of Transactions

Karachi: In a series of transactions spanning four days, Mr. Muhammad Shahid Ali, the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Arif Habib Limited, has significantly increased his shareholding in the company. The disclosure, mandated under clause 5.6.4 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations, was reported on October 2, 2026.

Mr. Ali's transactions, conducted in the ready market and documented in the Central Depository Company (CDC) form of share certificates, began on September 28, 2026. On that day, he acquired 311,231 shares at a rate of Rs. 104.99 each, bringing his cumulative shareholding to 2,837,416 shares, representing a 4.34% stake in the company.

The following day, September 29, 2026, Mr. Ali purchased an additional 64,170 shares at Rs. 107.52 per share. This transaction increased his total shareholding to 2,901,586 shares, or 4.44% of the company.

On September 30, 2026, he further acquired 33,100 shares at Rs. 108.23 each. This purchase raised his cumulative number of shares to 2,934,686, translating to a 4.49% ownership.

Mr. Ali concluded his series of acquisitions on October 1, 2026, by buying 35,492 shares at Rs. 111.67 per share. This brought his total shareholding to 2,970,178 shares, representing a 4.55% stake in Arif Habib Limited.
