Three Spinning Mills Continue to Face Non-Compliance Issues with PSX

Karachi: Three companies listed under the non-compliant segment of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) have once again failed to meet regulatory requirements, according to recent reports. The companies, all operating within the spinning mills sector, have not adhered to PSX Regulation 5.11.1.(d) by failing to pay penalties levied by the exchange.

The report, dated October 5, 2026, identifies Gulshan Spinning Mills Limited (GSPM), Gulistan Spinning Mills Limited (GUSM), and Paramount Spinning Mills Limited (PASM) as the entities in violation. These companies have already been marked for non-compliance due to their repeated failure to pay both the Annual Listing Fee (ALF) and the SECP Supervisory Fee for two consecutive years.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the continued non-compliance is attributed to the companies' inability to settle the financial penalties imposed under PSX Regulation 5.21.1. The penalties remain unpaid, and as a result, the non-compliance status of these firms will persist until all outstanding dues are cleared.

The designated market category for these companies remains under scrutiny as they struggle to align with the compliance standards set forth by the PSX. The situation underscores the challenges faced by certain sectors in maintaining regulatory adherence within the exchange's framework.
