Karachi: Blessed Textiles Limited has announced that its 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the company’s registered office located at Umer House, 23/1, Sector 23, S. M. Farooq Road, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi.
According to the official notice, the AGM will address several key business items. The agenda includes the confirmation of the minutes from the last AGM conducted on October 27, 2025. Shareholders will also receive and consider the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. This package will include the chairman's review, independent auditor's report, director's report, as well as all accompanying disclosures and statements as part of the annual report for 2026.
In addition, the meeting will appoint M/s Crowe Hussain Chaudhury & Co., Chartered Accountants, as the new auditors for the fiscal year 2026-2027. They are set to replace the retiring auditor Messer’s Rahman Sarfaraz Rahim Iqbal Rafiq, Chartered Accountants, with a fixed remuneration of PKR 2,300,000, matching the previous fiscal year’s fee.
A special business segment is planned to discuss related party transactions in accordance with Section 208 of the Companies Act, 2017. The resolutions include ratifying transactions from the previous fiscal year and authorizing the Board of Directors to approve future transactions on a case-by-case basis for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027. These approvals will subsequently be presented to shareholders for formal ratification at the following AGM.
The notice and a statement of material facts related to the special business have been distributed to shareholders by mail and uploaded to the company's website. In compliance with regulatory requirements, the notice and annual report for June 2026 were also emailed to shareholders with registered email addresses.
