Ghani Global Glass Limited Announces 19th Annual General Meeting Agenda

Lahore: Ghani Global Glass Limited (GGGL) has announced that its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at the company's registered office located at 10-N, Model Town Ext., Lahore. The announcement was made in a notice issued by the company, detailing the agenda for the upcoming meeting.

The AGM will cover a range of ordinary business matters, including the presentation and adoption of the Annual Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, alongside the Directors' and Auditors' Reports. Additionally, shareholders will deliberate on the reappointment of M/s Crowe Hussain Chaudhury & Co., Chartered Accountants, as the auditors for the year ending June 30, 2027, with their remuneration to be decided.

The meeting will also involve the election of seven directors for the company's Board, as stipulated under Section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017. The current directors, whose terms are expiring, include Hafiz Farooq Ahmad, Mr. Atique Ahmad Khan, Mr. Abdullah Ahmed, Mr. Asim Mahmud, Syed Sibtul Hassan Gilani, Ms. Saima Shafi Rana, and Sheikh Muhammad Saleem Ahsan. The new board term will commence from October 31, 2026.

Special business items on the agenda include proposed increases in investments in associated companies. The company plans to raise its investment in Ghani Global Holdings Limited from up to 300 million rupees to up to 400 million rupees. Similar increases are proposed for Ghani Chemical Industries Limited, from up to 400 million rupees to up to 500 million rupees, and for Ghani ChemWorld Limited, from up to 200 million rupees to up to 300 million rupees. These proposals will be considered in accordance with Section 199 of the Companies Act, 2017.
