Lahore: Ghani Global Glass Limited, Pakistan's leading glass tubing company, reported a significant decline in profit for the fiscal year 2026, despite increased production capacity, the company disclosed at its recent corporate briefing session. The company reported gross sales of 3,385 million PKR, representing a minor move with a 0.6% decrease compared to the previous fiscal year. Net sales also saw a moderate move, decreasing by 1.1% to 2,899 million PKR. However, local net sales experienced a big move with a 3.6% increase, reaching 2,825 million PKR.
Despite these sales figures, Ghani Global Glass Limited's profitability took a hit. The profit after tax plummeted by 55.1% to 135 million PKR, marking a very large or significant move. Earnings per share mirrored this trend, decreasing by 54.4% to 0.57 PKR. The company's EBITDA stood at 844 million PKR, a decrease of 3.6% from the previous year, with the margin slipping to 29.1%.

The company's strategic performance indicators over a five-year period (FY22-FY26) showed a compound annual growth rate of 17.4% in gross sales, with accumulated profit reaching 593 million PKR by FY26, improving from a deficit of 78 million PKR in FY22.
Despite the current year's financial challenges, Ghani Global Glass Limited's sales have nearly doubled since FY22, reflecting a 17% compound annual growth. However, the start-up costs continued to affect net profit, even as EBITDA remained steady. The company managed to maintain its EBITDA margin near 29%, despite an increase in depreciation by 136 million PKR.
This financial performance places Ghani Global Glass Limited within the designated market category of glass manufacturing, highlighting both the company's operational successes and financial challenges for the fiscal year 2026.
