Adamjee Life Assurance Credits Interim Dividend Amid Regulatory Compliance

Karachi: Adamjee Life Assurance Company Limited has announced the crediting of an interim cash dividend amounting to Rs. 1 per share, equivalent to 10%, into the bank accounts of its shareholders for the period ending June 30, 2026. This development was confirmed in a report dated September 15, 2026, and adheres to the regulatory framework of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the dividend was credited electronically on the stipulated date, ensuring compliance with Rule 5.6.10 of the PSX Regulations. In line with this, a notice is scheduled for publication in newspapers on September 16, 2026, to inform shareholders about the dividend credit.

The company emphasized the necessity for shareholders to have submitted their valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN) to facilitate the electronic credit of dividends. Shareholders who have not provided complete bank account details, including IBAN, will have their dividends withheld as per Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, and subsequent notifications by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

Details regarding the net amount credited, the number of shares held, and total cash dividend, along with any deductions for tax and zakat, are available on the CDC Repository Web portal. Shareholders are encouraged to access these details through the Centralized Cash Dividend Register for record-keeping and tax purposes by registering for e-Dividend at the specified web address.

The company has advised shareholders to contact the Company's Share Registrar Office, CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, in Karachi, to provide any missing information necessary to process their dividend payments.
