Karachi: The Board of Directors of MCB Investment Management Limited, the management company for Alhamra Islamic Income Fund, has announced the financial results for the year ending June 30, 2025. The announcement was made following a board meeting held at the company's head office in Karachi on August 4, 2025.
The financial statements reveal a substantial increase in the fund's net assets, which rose to 42.78 billion from 12.30 billion in the previous year. This represents a very large or significant move in the fund's financial standing. The increase in net assets is complemented by a rise in total assets, which reached 43.09 billion, compared to 12.37 billion the previous year.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Alhamra Islamic Income Fund's liabilities also saw a change, although they remain relatively small in comparison to the total assets. The total liabilities increased to 310.55 million from 76.43 million, reflecting a big move.
The number of units in issue rose to 410,171,831 from 118,185,188, and the net asset value per unit experienced a minor move, standing at 104.2903 compared to 104.0607 the previous year.
The fund's financial documents, including the Statement of Assets and Liabilities, Statement of Profit and Loss, and other comprehensive statements, have been shared for reference. However, earnings per unit (EPU) have not been disclosed, as the management deems the calculation of the weighted average number of units impracticable.
The management has pledged to distribute printed copies of the accounts to members of the exchange, ensuring transparency and accessibility of the financial information.
