Amtex Limited Faces Deadline to Rectify Non-Compliance with PSX Regulation

Karachi: Amtex Limited, a company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), is facing a critical deadline to address a regulatory non-compliance issue by September 15, 2026. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has been cited for non-compliance with PSX Regulation 5.11.1.(d) due to its failure to settle a penalty previously imposed by the exchange. This issue was initially highlighted in PSX Notice No. PSX/N-737, dated June 17, 2026.

The PSX has mandated that Amtex Limited must resolve this non-compliance by the stipulated deadline through full payment of all outstanding dues. Should Amtex fail to meet the deadline, PSX has indicated that it will initiate action under Clause 5.11.3.(d) of its regulations, which involves issuing a Risk Warning Alert against the company.

Even if Amtex succeeds in rectifying the non-compliance by paying the dues within the given timeframe, the company will remain listed in the "Non-Compliant Segment" due to ongoing non-compliance with PSX Regulation 5.11.1.(g) until all compliance issues are fully resolved. As the compliance deadline approaches, the market is closely watching Amtex's next steps.
