At-Tahur Limited Announces Rs. 750 Million Islamic Sukuk Issuance

Lahore: At-Tahur Limited, a notable entity in the dairy and food sector, has announced its plans to raise Rs. 750 million through a privately placed Islamic Sukuk. The announcement was made on April 8, 2025, as part of the company's strategy to finance its working capital requirements.

In compliance with section 96 of the Securities Act and clause 5.6.1(a) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations, At-Tahur Limited disclosed the details of the Sukuk issuance, which includes a potential Green Shoe Option of Rs. 150 million. This financial instrument is structured as a rated, secured Sukuk with a tenor of nine months.

The pricing of the Sukuk is set at 9M KIBOR plus 150 basis points, with a single profit payment to be made in arrears at the end of the instrument's tenor. Similarly, the principal repayment will also occur as a single bullet payment at the conclusion of the nine-month period. The security for the Sukuk is established through a ranking charge over the company's current and biological assets, amounting to Rs. 750 million.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the entity holds a long-term rating of A- and a short-term rating of A2, while the instrument itself is rated as Al.

The company has requested the dissemination of this information to all certificate holders of the exchange, highlighting the importance of transparency and compliance with regulatory standards. This move is expected to support At-Tahur Limited in meeting its financial goals while maintaining a robust position in its designated market category.
