Karachi: Atlas Battery Limited has officially announced the electronic distribution of a final cash dividend for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. The payment, which amounts to Rs. 20.00 per share, represents a 200% dividend, credited on September 30, 2024, to shareholders' designated bank accounts.

The company informed that the dividend was deposited directly into the bank accounts of the shareholders listed in the Central Depository System (CDS). This method complies with the Companies Act, 2017 and the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017. The notification also detailed the withholding of dividends for shareholders who failed to provide correct or complete banking details or a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Atlas Battery has taken steps to ensure all shareholders have the opportunity to receive their dividends by updating their details. Physical shareholders must submit a “Dividend Mandate Form,” available on the company's website, along with their CNIC. This procedure is in place to streamline the payment process and verify the identities of all dividend recipients.

Shareholders maintaining their holdings electronically are advised to direct their banking information and dividend mandates to the relevant participant or the CDC Investor Account Service, ensuring timely and secure receipt of their dividends.

The correspondence regarding this announcement was made through a formal notice sent to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, including references to publications in the 'Business Recorder' and 'Nawa-e-Waqt' newspapers.
