Abu Dhabi: Bank Alfalah Limited has declared a second interim cash dividend for the quarter ending 30th June 2024, as determined in a board meeting held on 1st August 2024. The meeting, conducted in Abu Dhabi and via Weblink, approved a dividend rate of PKR 2 per share, marking a 40% cumulative dividend for the first half of the year, following an initial dividend of the same amount.
The bank's decision on dividend payout aligns with its performance for the quarter. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), there are no new issuances of bonus or right shares, maintaining a focus on direct shareholder returns through dividends. Furthermore, no other entitlements or price-sensitive actions were announced.
The financial results, detailed in annexures "A, B, and C," have been publicly disclosed, providing a transparent view of the bank's unconsolidated and consolidated financial standings as of 30th June 2024. Shareholders of record by the close of business on 12th August 2024 will be eligible for the dividend, with the share transfer books scheduled to be closed from 13th August to 15th August 2024.
In compliance with regulatory requirements, Bank Alfalah will also distribute its detailed half-yearly report for the period through PUCARS within the stipulated timeframe, ensuring thorough communication with its investors and stakeholders.
