BankIslami Pakistan Limited Suspends Sukuk Trading for Profit Payment

Karachi: BankIslami Pakistan Limited has announced a temporary suspension in the trading of its Sukuk, designated as [BIPLSC], due to scheduled profit payments. The book closure dates for this process are set from January 30, 2025, to January 31, 2025. Consequently, trading in the said Sukuk will be halted from January 29, 2025, and is expected to resume on February 03, 2025.

The suspension comes as part of the bank's routine financial operations to ensure accurate profit distribution to its Sukuk holders. This measure affects the designated market category of financial instruments within the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
