Karachi: The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited has announced a change in the face value of shares for LSE Ventures Limited (LSEVL), effective from September 1, 2025. This adjustment follows the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Notice No. PSX/N - 893, dated August 22, 2025, and will require modifications to the trading and settlement schedules in both the Regular and Leverage Markets.
According to the new schedule, trading in the Regular Market will commence on August 26, 2025, with a T+2 settlement cycle, concluding on August 28, 2025. Any pending deliveries for this date will be squared-up or closed out on August 29, 2025. Trading on August 27 and August 29 will follow a similar pattern, with closeouts also scheduled for August 29. Additionally, a T+0 settlement cycle will be in effect for transactions on August 28, necessitating any pending deliveries to be squared-up or closed out on August 29.
The Leverage Market will also observe changes. For those taking up new positions using the Margin Financing System (MFN) or Securities Lending & Borrowing (SLB), the last trading date is set for August 26, 2025, with a settlement date of August 28, 2025. Importantly, the MFN facility for trading on August 26 will not be available on August 27. Open positions under the Margin Financing System and SLB will be force released at the end of the trading day on August 27, with settlement finalizing on August 29.
