Karachi: BankIslami Pakistan Limited has announced a temporary suspension in the trading of its Sukuk, labeled [BIPLSC2], due to scheduled profit payments. The closure of books is set from November 29, 2025, to November 30, 2025, during which time trading will not be possible.

The trading suspension will commence on November 28, 2025, and last until November 30, 2025. Trading activities are expected to resume on December 1, 2025. This measure is aimed at facilitating the profit payment process for the Sukuk holders without any trading discrepancies during the closure period.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), stakeholders and market participants have been informed of these dates to ensure transparency and compliance. The designated market category for this trading activity remains unaffected by this temporary suspension.
