Change in Voting Power of Pakistan Aluminium Beverage Cans Limited Directors and Shareholders

Karachi: Pakistan Aluminium Beverage Cans Limited (PABC) has reported updates concerning the indirect shareholding of its directors and substantial shareholders as of April 1, 2026. The changes follow recent share acquisitions by associated companies.

Liberty Mills Limited has increased its stake in PABC, now holding a total of 7,517,568 shares. This includes recent acquisitions of 609,874 shares on March 26, 2026, followed by 15,000 shares on March 30, 2026, and 50,000 shares on March 31, 2026. Liberty Power Tech Limited also holds a substantial interest in PABC, with a total of 15,039,115 shares.

Following these acquisitions, changes in the voting power of PABC’s directors and substantial shareholders have been recorded. Mr. Zain Ashraf Mukaty, the CEO and Director, holds a direct shareholding of 75,813,113 shares, equivalent to 20.9946% of the total voting power. His indirect voting power through corporate shareholding is 4,659,344 shares, amounting to 1.2903%. In total, Mr. Mukaty’s voting power stands at 80,472,457 shares, which represents 22.2849% of the total.

Mr. Ahmed Ashraf Mukaty, a Director, has a direct shareholding of 62,497,438 shares, or 17.3071% of the voting power. His indirect voting power is also 4,659,344 shares, mirroring Mr. Zain Mukaty’s indirect holdings, resulting in a total of 67,156,782 shares, representing 18.5974% of the voting power.

Similarly, Mr. Temoor Ashraf Mukaty, a substantial shareholder, holds direct shareholding of 62,497,439 shares, equating to 17.3071% of the total voting power. His indirect voting power accounts for 4,659,343 shares, bringing his total voting power to 67,156,782 shares, which also represents 18.5974% of the total.
