Dadabhoy Cement Industries Limited Rectifies Fee Non-Compliance with PSX

Karachi: Dadabhoy Cement Industries Limited (DBCI) has resolved its non-compliance issues related to the payment of the Annual Listing Fee and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) supervisory fee, according to a recent notification from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This announcement follows the previous Risk Warning Alert issued on January 22, 2025, which highlighted DBCI’s failure to fulfill these financial obligations for two consecutive years.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has now settled its outstanding dues, resulting in the rectification of its non-compliance with Clause 5.11.1.(d) of the PSX Regulations. Consequently, the Risk Warning Alert issued against DBCI has been formally rescinded.

Despite the resolution of the fee-related non-compliance, DBCI continues to face challenges. The company remains listed in the Non-Compliant Segment of the market due to the cessation of its business operations or commercial production in its principal line of business for over one year. Additionally, an adverse opinion has been issued by the statutory auditor in its audit report. These issues must be resolved before DBCI can fully exit the Non-Compliant Segment.

The developments concerning DBCI are being closely monitored within the designated market category, as stakeholders await further updates on the company’s compliance status and operational activities.
