Dawood Lawrencepur Limited Reports Profit Spike in Third Quarter

Karachi: Dawood Lawrencepur Limited announced robust financial results for the quarter and nine-month period ending September 30, 2024, demonstrating significant profit growth and solid operational performance. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company recorded a profit before taxation of PKR 386.95 million in the latest quarter, marking a substantial improvement from the PKR 385.88 million profit in the same period in 2023.

In the third quarter of 2024, the company achieved a gross profit of PKR 1.75 billion, a considerable rise from PKR 1.19 billion reported in the third quarter of 2023. This growth was propelled by increased revenue from contracts with customers, which saw a net increase to PKR 2.25 billion from PKR 1.65 billion over the same period. For the nine-month period, Dawood Lawrencepur's profit before taxation surged to PKR 1.01 billion, a notable rise from PKR 4.19 billion in the prior year. The earnings per share for continuing operations have also seen a positive adjustment, standing at PKR 60.01 compared to PKR 6.71 in 2023.
