Karachi: EcoPack Limited has reported significant changes in the shareholdings of two of its directors. The updates were disclosed under Clause 5.6.4 of the PSX rule book, which mandates the notification of any changes in director shareholdings prior to their resignation.
Muhammad Junaid Hameed Dagia, one of the directors, sold 2,500 shares, reducing his stake in the company to just 375 shares from an initial holding of 2,875 shares. The transaction was executed at a price of PKR 23.79 per share.
In a similar vein, Omer Tariq, another director of EcoPack Limited, also undertook significant sales transactions just before resigning. He sold all his shares in two separate transactions: 567,150 shares and 2,489,550 shares, both at prices of PKR 23.92 and PKR 23.79 per share, respectively, leaving him with no remaining shares in the company.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions, which were carried out in compliance with the regulatory framework of the PSX, are part of the corporate governance requirements that ensure transparency and maintain trust among shareholders and the investing public. The PSX designates EcoPack Limited as part of the consumer goods sector, underscoring the company's role in the manufacturing and packaging industries.
