Karachi: EFU Life Assurance Ltd. has made a significant announcement regarding the status of its Letter of Rights as a Central Depository System (CDS) eligible security, according to the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC). The declaration took effect on September 30, 2026, following a notice issued by CDC on September 29, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Letter of Rights pertains to the offer of new securities through a rights issue to the holders of existing ordinary shares of EFU Life Assurance Ltd. The CDC notice, provided under Regulation 8AA.1.1 of its regulations, confirms that these Right Entitlements will be treated as Eligible Securities within the CDS framework.
