Karachi, (PPI Bot): Engro Corp, a leading conglomerate in Pakistan, saw its shares climb from an opening price of PKR 287 to a closing of PKR 291.25 in today's trading session on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The shares touched a low of PKR 286 with a slight increase in the high at PKR 286.63. A notable volume of 343,079 shares was traded, and the closing price was marked at PKR 287.19.

The December futures of Engro Corp, ENGRO-DECB, started at PKR 281 and made a significant jump to close at PKR 293. The trading volume for the futures was recorded at 4,000 shares, with a closing price slightly higher at PKR 293.15.

In contrast, Engro Corp's January futures, ENGRO-JAN, did not see any trading activity with the stock high listed at PKR 300.17.

Moreover, the November futures, ENGRO-NOVB, opened at PKR 274.01 and also saw an increase in closing at PKR 291. The trading volume was less pronounced than the regular stocks but still considerable at 23,500 shares, with a closing price of PKR 289.73.
