Karachi, Exide Pakistan Limited has informed its shareholders and the investing public that the share Transfer Books of the company will be closed for two different purposes.

Firstly, for the entitlement of the final cash dividend, the Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from 24 July, 2023, to 29 July, 2023 (both days inclusive). It is important to note that the above entitlement will be paid to shareholders whose names will appear in the Register of the Members on July 22, 2023.

Secondly, for entitlement to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM), the Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from 9 August 2023 to August 15, 2023 (both days inclusive). During this period, shareholders who wish to attend the AGM should ensure that their names are in the Register of Members.

These closures of Share Transfer Books will enable the company to accurately determine the list of eligible shareholders for the cash dividend entitlement and for participation in the Annual General Meeting. Shareholders are encouraged to take note of the specified dates to ensure that they receive their entitlements and have the opportunity to participate in the important AGM of Exide Pakistan Limited.
