Fauji Cement Reschedules Board Meeting to Address Annual Audited Accounts

RAWALPINDI: Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL) has announced the rescheduling of its 172nd Board Meeting to August 11, 2026, moving from its previously planned date of August 6, 2026. The change was confirmed in a report dated July 30, 2026, and is set to take place at the company's head office in Rawalpindi at 1200 hours.

The meeting's agenda is to include the consideration and recommendation of the Annual Audited Accounts for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, along with other non-financial matters. This adjustment in scheduling also aligns with the company's compliance requirements, as stipulated by the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), FCCL has declared a "Closed Period" from August 5 to August 11, 2026. This period restricts any directors, the CEO, and executives from directly or indirectly trading FCCL shares, a measure ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory standards.

The company's earlier notification concerning the Board Meeting and Closed Period has been officially withdrawn and cancelled, as per the latest update. This strategic rescheduling aims to facilitate a comprehensive review by the Board of Directors in consideration of the annual financial statements and other related business matters.
