Karachi, Ferozsons Laboratories Limited reported a significant increase in revenues and profits for the nine months and quarter ended March 31, 2024, as per the latest financial disclosures to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. For the nine-month period, the company's net revenue reached Rs 9.56 billion, up from Rs 7.29 billion in the corresponding period last year. The profit after taxation also saw an increase, climbing from Rs 223.6 million in 2023 to Rs 270.4 million in 2024. Earnings per share improved from Rs 5.14 to Rs 6.22.

During the quarter ending March 31, 2024, Ferozsons Laboratories experienced a revenue of Rs 2.85 billion compared to Rs 2.69 billion during the same quarter the previous year. The quarterly profit after taxation amounted to Rs 13.32 million, a decline from Rs 24.44 million recorded in the same quarter of 2023, with earnings per share at Rs 0.31 down from Rs 0.56.

In its consolidated financial statements, Ferozsons Laboratories Limited showed even more robust growth. The consolidated revenue for the nine-month period was reported at Rs 12.04 billion, a substantial rise from Rs 8.36 billion in the previous year. The consolidated profit after taxation reached Rs 558.5 million, up from Rs 291.6 million. The earnings per share were Rs 11.50, an increase from Rs 6.38.

The results for the quarter on a consolidated basis highlighted a net revenue of Rs 3.74 billion, up from Rs 3.12 billion in 2023, and a profit after taxation of Rs 165.4 million, an increase from Rs 39.95 million. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.10, up from Rs 0.84.
