Karachi: First Prudential Modaraba has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to change its name to Wasl Mobility Modaraba. The change also applies to its management company, Awwal Modaraba Management Limited, which will be renamed Wasl Modaraba Management Limited. This development was confirmed through an official letter dated March 25, 2025.

The Registrar Modaraba Companies and Modarabas has issued a no-objection certificate, clearing the way for the name change. The official communication to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) was outlined in a letter, referenced as PMI/PSX/2025, dated March 07, 2025.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company will begin notifying the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange about this approved name change. The market category of the company remains unchanged as it transitions into its new corporate identity.
