KARACHI: Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company Limited has scheduled its 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 28, 2024. The meeting will take place at Karachi. It will also be accessible via video conferencing to facilitate broader shareholder participation.

This AGM is set to confirm the minutes from the previous meeting held on October 26, 2023, and to adopt the annual audited accounts for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders will also review the directors’ and auditors’ reports.

A key agenda item will be the reappointment of the retiring auditors, M/s. Shirazi Hameed Chaudhri & Company, Chartered Accountants, who have expressed their willingness to serve another term. The meeting will also see the approval of a proposed final cash dividend of Rs. 1.87 per share, equating to an 18.7% payout, recommended by the Board of Directors.
