Lahore: Ghani Global Glass Limited (GGGL) has announced the uncontested election of its new board of directors, as per the notice issued under Section 159 (4) of the Companies Act, 2017. The election is scheduled to be finalized at the company’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., to be held at the registered office of the company.

The notice disclosed that seven individuals have submitted their candidacies for the board positions. These candidates include Mr. Atique Ahmad Khan, Hafiz Farooq Ahmad, Mr. Abdullah Ahmed, Syed Sibtul Hassan Gilani, Mr. Asim Mahmud, Mrs. Saima Shafi Rana, serving as an independent director, and Sheikh Muhammad Saleem Ahsan, also an independent director.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the number of candidates matches the number of board positions available, leading to an uncontested election. This situation ensures that all seven individuals will be deemed elected to the board for a term of three years, starting from October 31, 2026.

The election follows the provisions outlined in Section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017, which stipulates the conditions under which directors can be elected without contest.
