Lahore: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Ghani Global Glass Limited is set to see a seamless transition of its board of directors. According to a notice issued by the company, seven individuals have declared their candidacy for election to the company's board of directors, which will occur at the AGM scheduled for October 27, 2026. The meeting will take place at the registered office of the company, with proceedings beginning at 12:00 p.m.

The candidates for election are Mr. Atique Ahmad Khan, Hafiz Farooq Ahmad, Mr. Abdullah Ahmed, Syed Sibtul Hassan Gilani, Mr. Asim Mahmud, Mrs. Saima Shafi Rana, who is an independent director, and Sheikh Muhammad Saleem Ahsan, also serving as an independent director. Each of these individuals has filed their intent to be elected in accordance with the provisions of Section 159(4) of the Companies Act, 2017.

Since the number of candidates does not exceed the number of available director positions, these nominees will automatically be deemed elected, as per Section 159(1) of the Companies Act, 2017. The seven directors will commence their three-year term starting October 31, 2026.
