Lahore: Gulistan Textile Mills Limited has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 28, 2024, at Karachi. The meeting, set to commence will address several key items on the agenda, including the adoption of financial statements and the reappointment of auditors.

The primary order of business will include the confirmation of the minutes from the last AGM and the adoption of the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. These documents, accompanied by reports from both directors and auditors, will be presented to the shareholders for approval.

In addition to routine annual matters, shareholders will appoint and set the remuneration for the auditors for the fiscal year 2024-2025. The current auditors, M/s Malik Haroon Ahmad and Co., formerly known as Malik Haroon Shahid Safder and Co., have expressed their willingness to continue in their role.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's share transfer books will be closed from October 21, 2024, until the date of the AGM, during which no share transfers will be registered. This closure is a standard procedure to finalize the list of shareholders eligible to vote at the meeting.

Shareholders interested in attending the meeting via video link must register by October 22, 2024, through the provided email. Additionally, changes in shareholder addresses should be promptly communicated to the Shares Registrar at M/s Hameed Majeed Associates (Pvt) Limited in Karachi.
