Karachi: Hallmark Company Limited has announced its decision to change its name to Supernet Technologies Limited, pending approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and the company’s shareholders. This strategic move, aimed at aligning the company's name with its business objectives and strategic direction, was resolved by the Board of Directors, as conveyed in a material information disclosure in accordance with Section 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and clause 5.6.1 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations.
The name change proposal, in compliance with Section 12 of the Companies Act, 2017, will be presented for approval in an upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting. The Board has authorized Mr. Waseem Ahmad, CEO and Director, and Mr. Muhammad Farhan Saeed, Company Secretary, to oversee the execution of all necessary legal and corporate formalities to implement the resolution.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company intends to substitute the name "Hallmark Company Limited" with "Supernet Technologies Limited" in all official documents, subject to shareholders’ approval through a special resolution and subsequent SECP authorization. The company’s decision reflects an effort to better represent its evolving business goals under the new name. All actions taken by the authorized persons on behalf of the company in relation to this matter have been confirmed and adopted in full by the Board.
