Hi-Tech Lubricants Announces New Subsidiary for Polymer Business

Lahore: Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited has announced the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, Hi-Tech Synthetics and Packages (Private) Limited. This development follows a corporate restructuring and operational carve-out of the Polymer Business Segment from Hi-Tech Blending (Private) Limited, an operating subsidiary of Hi-Tech Lubricants.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan issued the Certificate of Incorporation for the new entity on October 26, 2026. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the formation of Hi-Tech Synthetics and Packages marks a significant step in the company's strategic realignment efforts.

The newly formed subsidiary is structured with an authorized share capital of PKR 10.00 million, divided into 1,000,000 ordinary shares at PKR 10 each. The paid-up share capital stands at PKR 1.00 million, comprising 100,000 ordinary shares at the same rate. Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited holds the majority stake with 99,980 shares, while the remaining 20 shares are equally divided between two nominee directors.

The governance framework of the new subsidiary consists of a two-member Board of Directors, both nominated by Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited. This new entity will focus solely on managing the polymer business, which has been carved out from Hi-Tech Blending.

The restructuring move aligns with the company's broader market strategy to streamline operations and focus on specialized business segments.
