Islamabad: Highnoon Laboratories Limited has announced the indemnification of Mr. Tariq Mahmood for the loss of six share certificates, representing a total of 250 shares, according to an official notification issued on September 20, 2023.
The company confirmed that Mr. Mahmood reported the loss of the certificates, following which it initiated the standard indemnification process. The share certificates in question span a range of numbers, indicating multiple issuance events, and collectively account for 250 shares of the pharmaceutical company.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), if no claims are made within a stipulated seven-day period following the public notice, Highnoon Laboratories will proceed with the issuance of duplicate certificates to safeguard the shareholder’s interests.
The affected shares are part of the broader engagement Highnoon Laboratories has with its investors, reflecting the company’s adherence to strict regulatory and procedural norms in handling shareholder issues. The total holdings represented by these shares sum up to 0.25 million shares, a fraction of the company’s extensive portfolio.
This measure is in line with PSX regulations that mandate immediate reporting and remedial action regarding share certificate losses to ensure market stability and protect shareholder rights.
