The company's Board of Directors convened on October 2, 2026, and disclosed that no cash dividends, bonus shares, right shares, or other corporate actions are recommended for this period.
The company reported total equity and liabilities amounting to 12.66 billion rupees, a slight decrease from the previous year's 12.77 billion rupees. Equity, primarily driven by reserves and revaluation surplus, stood at 10.42 billion rupees, reflecting stability in the company's financial foundation.
Revenue for the year was reported at 297.02 million rupees, indicating a very large or significant move downward from the previous year's 509.85 million rupees. The gross profit also saw a reduction, closing at 196.56 million rupees compared to 319.89 million rupees in 2025. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these figures underscore the challenging market conditions faced by the company.
In light of the revenue decline, administrative expenses slightly increased to 191.73 million rupees from 184.25 million rupees, contributing to a reduced operating profit of 82.30 million rupees, down from 142.00 million rupees the previous year. The company still managed to report a profit from continuing operations of 164.12 million rupees, a moderate move upwards from the prior year's 151.37 million rupees, aided by a substantial income tax benefit recorded at 82.18 million rupees, compared to 9.78 million rupees in 2025.
Discontinued operations posted a net loss of 126.56 million rupees, slightly widening from the previous year's loss of 124.71 million rupees. Consequently, the overall profit for the year reached 37.56 million rupees, marking a moderate move up from the 26.66 million rupees reported last year.
Earnings per share increased to 0.38 rupees, reflecting a rise from the 0.27 rupees reported in 2025. Despite the drop in revenue, Imperial Limited maintains a solid financial position, supported by its substantial equity base and prudent financial management.
