Lahore: Ittefaq Iron Industries Ltd. has formally announced the agenda for its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to convene on October 26, 2026, at its registered office in Lahore. The meeting, set to begin at noon, will also offer participation via a video-link for stakeholders unable to attend in person.
The AGM will focus on several key items of ordinary business. Firstly, shareholders will be asked to confirm the minutes from the previous AGM held on October 27, 2025. A significant agenda item includes the election of seven directors to serve a three-year term as determined by the Board of Directors in compliance with Section 159(1) of The Companies Act 2017. The retiring directors eligible for re-election are Mian Muhammad Pervaiz Shafi, Shahzad Javed, Khurram Jamil, Muhammad Mubashir Iqbal, Tayyab Ali, Wajeeha Shahzad, and Sobia Irshad.
Additionally, the appointment of auditors for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, will be addressed. M/s. Kaleem & Company (Chartered Accountants), the current auditors, have expressed their willingness for re-appointment and will be considered for the role.
The meeting will conclude with any other business matters that may arise, subject to the Chairman's permission.
