Karachi: JS Investments Limited has announced the financial results for its collective investment schemes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, following a Board of Directors meeting held on August 23, 2026. These results reflect varying performances across different funds managed by the company.
The Unit Trust of Pakistan reported a total income of 785.82 million rupees for the fiscal year 2026, a minor move of -1.56% compared to 798.26 million rupees in the previous year. The fund's net income before taxation reached 692.08 million rupees, with no taxation impacting the final figures. The net income after taxation showed a decrease, closing the year at 547.19 million rupees, compared to 603.60 million rupees in 2025, driven primarily by a reduction in unrealized appreciation from financial assets.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the JS Growth Fund illustrated a different trajectory. It recorded a total income of 1.43 billion rupees, marking a minor move of 1.16% from 1.41 billion rupees in the prior year. The fund's net income after taxation was 1.25 billion rupees, slightly down from 1.26 billion rupees in 2025, with distribution income related solely to capital gains.
The JS Islamic Fund experienced a significant reduction in income, reporting 123.20 million rupees, a decrease from 166.28 million rupees in 2025, resulting in a very large or significant move of -25.92%. The fund's net income after taxation declined to 96.50 million rupees, a substantial drop from 146.85 million rupees the previous year. Consequently, the accounting income available for distribution was reduced to 47.38 million rupees from 107.97 million rupees the year prior.
