Kashf Foundation to Suspend Trading of Term Finance Certificate

Lahore: Kashf Foundation has announced the suspension of trading for its Term Finance Certificate [KFGB1] as part of a scheduled book closure and payment period. The decision was made public on May 27, 2025, and will affect trading activities on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The foundation has designated the book closure period from May 30, 2025, to June 5, 2025, to facilitate the second principal and sixth profit payment for the certificate. As a result, trading of the [KFGB1] certificate will be suspended starting May 29, 2025, and is set to resume on June 9, 2025.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the trading suspension is a procedural measure to ensure the smooth processing of payments associated with the Term Finance Certificate. This measure is consistent with standard practices for handling scheduled payments and book closures in the market.

The designated market category for this financial instrument remains unaffected, and the temporary suspension is not anticipated to impact the overall trading environment for other securities listed on the PSX.
