Kohinoor Industries Reports Sharp Decline in Quarterly Revenue and Profit

Lahore: Kohinoor Industries Limited has released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ending September 30, 2026, revealing a significant decrease in both revenue and profit. The company's directors disclosed the figures in a report dated October 29, 2026.

The revenue for the period under review stood at Rs. 10.385 million, a sharp decline from Rs. 21.488 million reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, marking a very large or significant move. Similarly, the company's profit plummeted to Rs. 0.838 million from Rs. 16.409 million recorded last year, with earnings per share (EPS) dropping to Rs. 0.03 from Rs. 0.54.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the downturn in Kohinoor Industries' financial performance is attributed primarily to a reduction in rental income. A major tenant vacated its rental space, which has not yet been fully reoccupied, a situation exacerbated by the prevailing economic conditions in the country.

These results place Kohinoor Industries within the designated market category, reflecting the challenges faced due to the current economic environment which has impacted its rental income stream. The company's management is likely to focus on mitigating these challenges in the upcoming quarters.
