Karachi: Leiner Pak Gelatine Limited has announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, highlighting significant growth in profit and earnings per share. The company, listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as a manufacturer and exporter of halal gelatine and allied products, recorded a net profit of 81.52 million Rupees, an increase from the previous year's 66.67 million Rupees.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's financial health has shown remarkable improvement with a 22% rise in net profits. This fiscal year, Leiner Pak Gelatine achieved a total sales revenue of 3.34 billion Rupees, up from 2.34 billion Rupees the year before, marking a significant uplift in its business operations.
The gross profit for the year stood at 417.89 million Rupees, bolstered by stringent cost controls that saw cost of sales amount to 2.97 billion Rupees. Administrative and distribution expenses were recorded at 116.19 million Rupees and 64.18 million Rupees, respectively, with overall operating expenses maintaining a stable trajectory.
The financial statements also highlighted that no dividends, bonus shares, or rights shares were declared for the year. This approach reflects the company's strategy to reinvest earnings into further expansion and operational enhancements.
