Karachi: Image Pakistan Ltd. has scheduled its Thirty Fourth Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 28, 2024, at Karachi. The AGM will commence with the recitation of the Holy Quran and will cover several significant agenda items crucial for the company’s governance and strategic direction.
This year’s AGM, according to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), is set to review and potentially approve the Annual and Consolidated Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2024. These statements include comprehensive reviews from both the directors and auditors, providing shareholders a detailed snapshot of the company’s financial health and operational outcomes.
One of the key discussions will be the reappointment of the company’s auditors. The current auditing firm, M/s. Farole, Sharif Tariq and Co., Chartered Accountants, will be retiring but has expressed interest in serving another term. Their reappointment comes recommended by the board of directors in acknowledgment of their past service and expertise.
Additionally, the meeting will address the ratification of transactions with related parties as detailed in Note No. 36 from the previous fiscal year’s disclosures. The board seeks to obtain formal shareholder approval for these transactions and similar activities planned for the coming year, ensuring transparency and adherence to corporate governance standards.
