Rawalpindi: In a recent notice, PICIC Growth Fund announced the loss of several share certificates belonging to the HBL Growth Fund. The notification, dated July 15, 2025, detailed the missing certificates and provided a list of legal heirs and distinctive numbers involved.
According to the notification, Samina Batool Ahmed, residing at House No. 65-C, Street No. 7, Askari-2, Chaklala Scheme-3, Rawalpindi, has reported the loss. The certificates in question are numbered from 420243 to 420247, 136862 to 436868, and 153646 to 453652, with distinctive numbers ranging from 132,808,843 to 132,810,717 and 164,488,349 to 164,490,223. The total quantity of shares involved is 2,500, 1,875, and 1,875 respectively.
Additionally, another set of certificates numbered from 420863 to 420872, 440495 to 440504, and 441986, with distinctive numbers from 133,692,890 to 133,696,639 and 162,749,165 to 162,752,914, have also been reported lost. This set includes share quantities of 5,000, 3,750, and 3,750.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the notification advises members of the exchange to refrain from dealing with the mentioned certificates. If no objections are received within seven days of the notice, duplicate share certificates will be issued to the legal heirs of the deceased shareholder.
The designated market category for these transactions remains focused on addressing the loss and ensuring the rightful allocation of shares to the legal heirs involved. The exchange is working to ensure that all procedures are followed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
