Shifa International Hospitals Limited to Issue Duplicate Share Certificates Following Reported Loss

Islamabad: Shifa International Hospitals Limited has announced the upcoming issuance of duplicate share certificates following the reported loss of original documents by a shareholder. The development comes after the company received an indemnity from Syed Muneeb Ahmad, a shareholder who reported the loss of eleven share certificates, collectively covering a total of 1,079 shares.

The details of the lost certificates indicate that they were spread across different certificate numbers, with 500 shares each tied to two blocks of certificate numbers ranging from 26667-26671 and 26767-26771. Additionally, 79 shares were associated with certificate number 507685.

In accordance with the procedures stipulated by the Pakistan Stock Exchange, Shifa International Hospitals Limited will issue the duplicate certificates seven days from the date of this announcement if no claims are made against the lost certificates. The date of this circular is July 14, 2025. The company has underscored that any claims must be lodged within this period to prevent the issuance of duplicates.
