Karachi: Recent developments have surfaced regarding previously lost stock certificates, with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) confirming their recovery. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), certificates belonging to shareholders of Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited and Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited have been located, reinstating normal trading conditions for these shares.
On November 21, 2025, it was announced that a stock certificate with the folio number 4538, belonging to Mrs. Jane Monteiro of Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited, has been recovered. This certificate, distinctive number 59293333, comprises one share.
Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited also reported the retrieval of a lost certificate. Mr. Owais Abdul Gani's certificate, under folio number 00057317, was found with distinctive numbers ranging from 483761873 to 483762372, representing 500 shares.
Furthermore, multiple certificates belonging to Mr. Muhammad Azhar Muhammad Usman were recovered. These include certificates with distinctive numbers from 22539567 to 22539609, 29366362 to 29366366, 26696476 to 26696479, and 24275193 to 24275196, totaling 56 shares.
The PSX has issued a notification to its members, advising them to proceed with transactions involving these certificates as usual, ensuring market stability and shareholder confidence.
