Macter International Announces Share Subdivision Following Shareholder Approval

Karachi: Macter International Limited has announced plans to subdivide its shares following the approval of special resolutions at its Annual General Meeting on October 28, 2026. The pharmaceutical company will alter the face value of each ordinary share from Rs. 10 to Rs. 2, resulting in the issuance of five ordinary shares in place of each existing share. This move will not affect the rights and privileges attached to the shares.

The company has scheduled the closure of its share transfer books on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Shareholders listed in the register of members by the close of business on Friday, November 13, 2026, will receive the newly subdivided shares. The existing physical share certificates will be canceled starting November 14, 2026. Shareholders are required to surrender these certificates to Macter’s Share Registrar, F.D. Registrar Services (Pvt) Limited, in exchange for new certificates representing the subdivided shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this strategic decision by Macter International Limited is part of an effort to enhance share liquidity and potentially broaden its investor base. The designated market category for this announcement is the pharmaceutical sector.
