Islamabad: Mari Energies Limited has disclosed a transaction involving the purchase of company shares by an executive, Mr. Muhammad Bilal Akram. According to official documentation, the transaction was executed on May 2, 2025, with Mr. Akram acquiring 50 shares at a rate of 618 per share. The shares were purchased in the Central Depository Company (CDC) form within the ready market category.
The company has confirmed that this transaction will be reviewed in the upcoming board meeting. This is in accordance with clause 5.6.4 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regulations. Furthermore, it has been verified that the transaction adheres to the holding period requirement, which exceeds six months. Should the holding period be less than six months, the executive is obligated to deposit a cheque equivalent to any profit with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as stipulated by Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with notification to PSX.
