Karachi: Mari Petroleum Company Limited has announced that several of its executive employees engaged in share transactions throughout August and September 2024. These transactions were disclosed as per regulatory requirements under clause 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations.
The company detailed the trades executed by its executives, including the buying and selling of shares. Notably, Mr. Muhammad Hadi, an executive, sold 20 shares on August 27, 2024, at a rate of PKR 3,300.00 each. In September, transactions intensified with multiple executives purchasing shares at varying prices. Mr. Muhammad Rashid bought 12 shares on September 11 at PKR 3,645.90 each and another 61 shares on September 12 at PKR 3,521.60 each. Mr. Rafi Ullah acquired 24 shares on September 12 at PKR 3,512.26 each, followed by a purchase of 76 shares on September 13 at PKR 3,530.29 each.
Furthermore, Brig Aftab Ahmed Qureshi (Retd), also an executive at Mari Petroleum, was active in the market, purchasing 136 shares on September 10 at PKR 3,644.33 each, 511 shares on September 11 at PKR 3,596.89 each, and 40 shares on September 13 at PKR 3,540.00 each.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), all transactions have been confirmed to be presented at the next board meeting, in compliance with the aforementioned PSX regulation. Additionally, the company affirmed that any transactions conducted within a six-month holding period would be addressed in accordance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, whereby profits are to be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), with due intimation to PSX.
