Karachi: MCB Investment Management Limited, the management entity behind MCB Cash Management Optimizer, released the financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The announcement followed a board meeting conducted on August 4, 2025, at the company's head office in Karachi.

The financial disclosure reveals a noteworthy increase in total assets, rising to 116.54 billion from the previous year's 47.40 billion. This change marks a very large or significant move in asset accumulation. The asset growth is driven by a substantial rise in bank balances, which soared to 78.70 billion, compared to 30.13 billion the year before. Investments also saw a big move, increasing to 37.54 billion from 17.07 billion.

On the liabilities side, a very large or significant move is noted, as total liabilities increased to 3.38 billion, up from 599.82 million. This increase includes accrued expenses and other liabilities, which rose significantly to 982.44 million from 73.91 million.

The net assets of the MCB Cash Management Optimizer experienced a very large or significant move, growing to 113.16 billion from 46.80 billion. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the number of units in issue also registered a very large or significant move, reaching 1,105.81 million compared to 458.62 million units previously.

Despite these figures, the company has not disclosed earnings per unit, citing the impracticality of calculating the weighted average number of units. The management plans to distribute printed accounts among exchange members for further scrutiny.
