MCB FUNDS Announces Rescheduling of Board Meeting and Closed Period

Karachi: MCB Funds Investments for Life (MCBIM) has announced the rescheduling of its Board of Directors meeting initially set for August 5, 2024, to now take place on September 25, 2024. The meeting will focus on reviewing and approving the Financial Statements for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2024. The agenda will also cover the management of Collective Investment Schemes and Voluntary Pension Schemes, as well as the potential declaration and distribution of the company's final dividend for the year.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the reschedule is in compliance with the regulatory framework. MCBIM has also declared a Closed Period from July 17, 2024, to September 25, 2024. During this time, directors, the CEO, and executives are prohibited from dealing in any manner with the company's shares.

The Closed Period is in accordance with Clause 5.6.4 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Regulations, ensuring that no insider trading or unfair advantage occurs during this sensitive financial period as the company prepares its annual financial reports.
