MCB Investment Management Limited Approves Alhamra Wada Fund’s Financial Results for 2026

Karachi: The Board of Directors of MCB Investment Management Limited, the management company of Alhamra Wada Fund, has approved the financial results for the year ending June 30, 2026. The decision was made during a meeting at the company's head office in Karachi on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

The financial results reveal varied performance across Alhamra Wada Fund's different plans. Specifically, Alhamra Wada Plan XIII reported a total income of 67,433, while Plan XIV showed a higher total income of 133,735. Plan XV and XVI recorded total incomes of 45,294 and 122,846, respectively. The income sources included bai - mujjal and profit on bank deposits, with no income reported from government securities or musharika certificates for some plans.

Operating expenses were also detailed, with Alhamra Wada Plan XIII incurring 3,317, while Plan XIV's expenses stood at 5,944. Plans XV and XVI followed with expenses of 777 and 3,367, respectively. These expenses included remuneration for MCB Investment Management Limited, Sindh Sales Tax, and fees to the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, among other charges.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the net income for the period before taxation was noted as 64,116 for Plan XIII and 127,791 for Plan XIV. Plan XV reported a net income of 44,517, while Plan XVI showed 119,479. There was no taxation applied, resulting in the net income after taxation being identical to the pre-tax figures for each plan.

The allocation of net income after taxation was adjusted for income already paid on units redeemed. This adjustment resulted in net income allocations of 5,442 for Plan XIII, 9,045 for Plan XIV, 4,520 for Plan XV, and 11,070 for Plan XVI. Accounting income available for distribution, excluding capital gains, matched these figures.
