Karachi: MCB Investment Management Limited has released its financial results for the MCB Pakistan Fixed Return Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The announcement was made following a board meeting held at the company's head office in Karachi on August 4, 2026.
In the comprehensive income statement, the fund's total income reached 1.89 billion, primarily driven by income from government securities totaling 1.84 billion, and profit on bank deposits amounting to 50,209. The net capital gain from investments was reported at 4,419, while other income contributed 580.
Operating expenses for the fund were recorded at 74,471. This included the remuneration of the management company, which amounted to 43,617, and the associated Sindh sales tax of 6,544. Trustee remuneration and related taxes were 9,600 and 1,441, respectively. SECP fees were documented at 13,090, with brokerage and bank charges amounting to 179.
The fund's net income before taxation was recorded at 1.82 billion, with no taxation applied, resulting in the same figure for net income after taxation. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this figure underscores the fund's robust performance for the period.
The allocation of net income, after accounting for income already paid on units redeemed, stood at 519.61 million. This included 218 related to capital gains and 519.39 million excluding capital gains.
The report highlights that amongst individual fund categories, MCB PFRP-26 reported the highest net income for the period after taxation at 449,931, while MCB PFRP-30 recorded the lowest at 30,435.
