The fund reported a notable increase in total assets, rising to 21.87 billion from 7.38 billion the previous year. Balances with banks surged to 2.29 billion compared to 319.02 million, while investments saw a significant rise to 19.25 billion from 6.98 billion.
Liabilities also increased, reaching 1.54 billion from 167.70 million last year. The most prominent liability was the amount payable against the purchase of investments, which increased to 1.36 billion from 43.80 million, contributing to the overall liability growth. This marks a very large or significant move in the fund's financial obligations.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the net assets of the fund climbed to 20.33 billion, up from 7.22 billion last year. The fund also saw an increase in the number of units in issue, which rose from 47.80 million to 78.69 million. Consequently, the net asset value per unit experienced a very large or significant move, increasing to 258.3523 from 150.9441.
The fund's management did not disclose earnings per unit, citing the impracticality of calculating the weighted average number of units. The financial outcomes highlight the fund's strategic growth and asset management amidst dynamic market conditions, reflecting a robust performance in the designated market category.
